These are three locations in Banff National Park to elope!

I recently attended a content day for photographer to grow their elopement portfolio and I had the exciting privilege to go to Banff National Park! I went with @elopewithkaseyjo or @elopeacademy and learned a lot. Banff is such a huge park and honestly it was so gorgeous that you can really elope anywhere at this park. I was stunned by the area and was truly in awe.

Peyto Lake

Peyto Lake is a glacier-fed lake in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. The lake itself is near the Icefields Parkway. There is a short (but steep) trek to the lookout. You would have to be lead to this spot (in my photos) but if you stay on trail you can definitely find it. It is a private area away from the crowds so it's a great spot to have a quiet ceremony.

Emerald Lake

Emerald Lake is fairly popular among the crowds and on arrival there will be a lot of tourists. When we arrived parking was full and it was a bustling area. There is a canoe rental nest to the lake, lodging and small home rentals up on the hill, and a restaurant in the area. Though the entrance of the lake is bustling there are private areas of the lake that are away from the crowds. Sadly, on the day we went it was raining, but it didn't stop us from having fun and capturing our couple.

Bow Lake

Bow lake is a stunning view and located on the left side of the Ice-fields Parkway when going north. It's an easy walk with small crowds. The mountain views and lake views were incredible. The path is short but easy to get wet so be ready to step into the lake! There is an adorable tiny gift shop and cafe here and it was convenient for us since we were so cold. The hot chocolate was a must! What I love about Bow Lake is that it has some grassy plains next to the lake and it gives it a dynamic look to the location.
