I moved to Tulsa in December of 2021...
I moved my photography business from Indiana to Tulsa, OK back in December of 2021 and it was such a scary thought! Starting all over again... back to square one. The number one thing I thought of was, "Where am I going to shoot my sessions now?" or "Does Oklahoma even have good scenery?"
Turns out there are some pretty great places! Here are my top three Parks in Tulsa or in the surround area.
Veteran's Park
1028 E 6th St, Tulsa, OK 74120
I love this park because of the downtown Tulsa skyline! This park is gorgeous and has so many features. It has a beautiful pond and fountain that is usually on during the evenings. There is free parking so you don't have to worry about your clients finding parking.

Haikey Creek Park
11327 S Garnett Rd, Broken Arrow, OK 74011
This park is a disk golf park, but I've never had any issues with my sessions here. I always tell my clients that it is a disk golf park so we will be mindful of the players and allow them first dibs and work around them. Since the park is shaped for disk golfers, there are wide open fields perfect for families. They also have these beautiful large trees that look beautiful in photos.

Ray Harrel Nature Park
7101 S 3rd St, Broken Arrow, OK 74011
This nature park is located behind a school which can be overlooked. This park is very popular for families that love hiking and walking. Ray Harrel is gorgeous throughout the year. It has beautiful spring flowers, it has a beautiful forrest in the back, and it has a gorgeous bridge that leads to more open fields. I love bringing my clients here when want versatility in my photos because this location has so many different scenery.
